Podcast: Emotional Resilience in Social Isolation

With so many families self-isolated, now is the time for us to come together and be famous at home. That’s why we’ve been working overtime to curate helpful resources for you and your family!

Virtual Support Group

The Center for Apostolic Counseling, in partnership with Royalwood Church, will be hosting weekly virtual support group meetings for those who are dealing with anxiety, depression, isolation, fear, or any other form of discomfort as a result of social distancing or other restrictions being used to eradicate COVID-19.

Meetings will take place every Thursday evening at 8PM (Central) via WebEx (a video conferencing platform). Those who register will receive a link to connect, as well as information needed to simply call in.

This is a support group and not a therapeutic group. Though the facilitator is a licensed therapist in the State of Texas, these sessions are only for support and encouragement. If you feel that you need therapeutic intervention, your facilitator can refer you to a therapist. By signing up for this group, you are acknowledging your understanding of this group’s limitations.
