To Our POCC Family:
(Updated Fri., Jan. 22nd)
Hello POCC Family!
We hope that you have all had a great week! As you know, POOC was hit hard by COVID in the past few weeks. We have had a few dozen people test positive or become symptomatic. We’re thankful that most of those folks have recovered or are recovering and doing well.
We do however have four church members or family members of church members who are in need of our prayers. Please be in prayer for Bro. Chris Canter, Bro. Leland Handy Sr., Bro. Richard Raines and Sis. Mimi Cruz (Mimi is the sister of Sis. Francis Macias and Sis. Rita Hill and the daughter of Sis. Luz Macias). All four of these folks are currently in the hospital and need our collective prayers for God to intervene. All four have various complications or ongoing COVID impact that is not recovering as quickly as the doctor’s would like. Let’s bind together for a complete healing for every one of them. We are trusting, believing and praying for God to move on their behalf.
We so badly want to be worshipping together with all of you again in person, but in light of all of this we’ve decided that we will be online only again this week. While the vast majority of people have recovered and are back to normal, we want to make sure we don’t unknowingly submit anyone due to lingering contagion among any of our impacted families. As we’ve said all along, we want to protect the health of POCC church members. And while this is a difficult circumstance, it also presents all of us the opportunity to truly create a worship environment in our homes. It’s so vitally important that we can seek God at home with our families and we want to do just that this weekend. Please unite your families in worship with us from home as we continue to balance our current circumstances with the absolute importance and need of corporate worship.
Please join us this Sunday, Jan. 24th for online service at both 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM at pentecostalsofcoopercity.online.church. We’re happy to announce that Pastor Hattabaugh has completed his quarantine and tested negative and he’ll be preaching live this Sunday morning. Pastor Guttridge has done the same and will be ministering Sunday evening.
Love you all! Please keep praying for our POCC family, especially those currently in the hospital, and we will be back with you in person soon.
Cooper City Christian Academy is a ministry of The Pentecostals of Cooper City that strives to provide a Christ-Centered environment of academic excellence. CCCA faculty and staff work with families to develop students who excel academically and will know and serve the Lord Jesus Christ with all their hearts, souls, minds and strength. We want every child entrusted to our care to reach their full intellectual and spiritual potential in a safe, thriving environment where they will receive personalized care and attention. At CCCA students will discover their God-given gifts as they prepare for their future and will learn to lead others into the Kingdom of God with commitment, competence, compassion and confidence. We'd love to talk to you more about your child and how CCCA can help them grow.
We have a great new way to connect! With POCC Connect, you can communicate with others, view new events, track your giving, search groups, volunteer to serve and more!
